Push Notifications

The LeadHub AI app sends push notifications only when a lead actually needs your attention — not every time the AI responds. This keeps the app quiet while the AI is working, and loud when it's your turn.

When you get a push

Example timeline

1. 11:03 AM — New lead: "Hi, I have a roof leak" → Silent (AI is handling)
2. 11:03 AM — AI replies: "What type of roof?" → Silent
3. 11:04 AM — Lead: "Asphalt shingles, ASAP" → AI marks HOT temperature → Silent (still qualifying)
4. 11:05 AM — Lead: "123 Main St" → AI qualifies lead → 🔔 PUSH: "Lead Ready to Book — John is ready to book"
5. 11:12 AM — You respond → lead becomes ASSIGNED
6. 11:45 AM — Lead: "Can we do 2pm instead?" → 🔔 PUSH: "Customer replied — John: Can we do 2pm instead?"

Per-role behavior

• Owner / Admin → gets pushes for any qualified lead or reply across the team
• Agent → gets pushes for leads where they are the assigned worker

Enabling notifications

iPhone (PWA)

1. Open Safari → go to app.leadhubai.io
2. Share menu → Add to Home Screen
3. Open the app from your home screen
4. When prompted, tap Allow for notifications
5. Keep the app icon installed (iOS only delivers push to installed PWAs)

Desktop (Chrome / Edge / Brave)

1. Go to app.leadhubai.io
2. Log in
3. When prompted, click Allow for notifications
4. Notifications will appear as system banners (macOS Notification Center / Windows Action Center)

Android (Chrome)

1. Open app.leadhubai.io in Chrome
2. Menu → Install app
3. Open the installed app
4. Allow notifications when prompted

Troubleshooting

Not receiving any pushes

1. Check permission — in browser settings for app.leadhubai.io, make sure notifications are Allowed
2. Reinstall the PWA — on iPhone especially, web push only works inside an installed PWA, not Safari
3. Check system settings — iOS Settings → LeadHub AI → Notifications → Allow Notifications
4. Try a test — have a teammate send a test lead that should qualify, or ask support to fire a test push

Only seeing some pushes

This is by design — see the table above. If the AI is handling a lead, no push fires. You'll get one once the AI finishes qualifying.

Push came but no sound

• Check your device is not on Do Not Disturb / Focus mode
• Check LeadHub AI notifications are allowed to make sound (iOS Settings → Notifications → LeadHub AI → Sound)

Privacy

Push notifications contain only:

• The lead's name (or first name)
• A short snippet of their latest message (first 60-80 chars)
• The event type (Qualified, Customer replied, etc.)

No sensitive account details, pricing, or internal notes are sent in the push payload.
