Self-Serve Trial Walkthrough

This guide walks you through signing up for your 14-day free Pro trial and getting your account fully set up — no technical skills required, takes about 5 minutes.

:::tip Before you start Have these handy:

  • Your business phone number and address
  • Access to the email address you'll use to sign in
  • If you want Facebook & Instagram leads: login access to your Facebook account that manages your business Page :::

Step 1 — Sign Up Online​

Where: leadhubai.io/trial

Fill out the short signup form:

Setup Preference​

You'll see two options:

  • 🚀 I'll set it up myself — Fastest. You'll get an email with a setup link. Follow 3 quick steps and you're live in 5 minutes.
  • 📞 I need help — A LeadHub AI team member will call you within 1 business hour (9am–6pm ET) and walk you through everything on the phone.

Pick one and click Start My Free Trial.

Step 2 — Check Your Email​

Within a minute, you'll receive an email from LeadHub AI with the subject:

"Welcome to LeadHub AI — Complete Your Pro Trial Setup"

It contains a big green Complete Your Setup → button.

The setup link expires in 48 hours. If you don't complete setup in time, no problem — email support@leadhubai.io and we'll send you a fresh link.

Click the button in the email to open the setup page.

Step 3 — Agree & Start Trial (Consent Page)​

The setup page opens with a progress bar showing Step 1 of 3.

You'll see:

  • Your business name and email pre-filled
  • A summary of the 14-day trial terms

What to do:

  1. Read the short trial terms
  2. Type your full name into the signature box (this confirms you agree to the trial terms)
  3. Click ✓ I Agree & Start Trial

The progress bar moves to Step 2.

Step 4 — Connect Facebook & Instagram (Optional)​

This is where you connect your Facebook Page so LeadHub AI can automatically respond to Facebook Messenger and Instagram DMs. You'll see a permissions card explaining what access is needed:

Option A — Connect Now (Recommended)​

  1. Click Connect with Facebook
  2. A small Facebook window pops up
  3. If you're not logged in, Facebook asks you to log in
  4. Facebook shows: "Which Pages do you want to use?" — pick your business Page
  5. Review the permissions → click Continue
  6. A green ✓ Channel Connected Successfully page appears showing your Page name
  7. Click Close Window
  8. Back in the setup wizard, you'll see a green checkmark and your Page name
  9. Click Continue → Set Your Password

:::tip If you have Instagram If your Instagram Business account is linked to your Facebook Page, it gets connected automatically. You'll see "✓ Instagram DMs also linked" on the success page.

If Instagram isn't connected, make sure your Instagram is a Business or Creator account (not personal) and linked to your Page in Facebook settings. You can always reconnect later from Channels → Reconnect. :::

Option B — Skip for Now​

Don't have a Facebook Page ready? No problem.

  1. Click Skip for now — connect from your dashboard later
  2. A popup asks you to confirm — click OK
  3. The wizard moves to Step 3

:::warning If you skip Your AI will still handle SMS and WhatsApp leads, but it won't respond to Facebook Messenger or Instagram DMs until you connect Facebook from the Channels menu in your dashboard. See the Channels page guide. :::

What if the popup is blocked?​

If your browser blocks the Facebook popup:

  1. Look for the popup-blocker icon in your browser's address bar
  2. Click it and choose Always allow popups from internal.leadhubai.io
  3. Click Try Again in the wizard

Step 5 — Set Your Password​

Progress bar shows Step 3 of 3.

This is the password you'll use every time you log in.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 characters
  • Must include: uppercase letter, lowercase letter, number, special character (!, @, #, etc.)

What you'll see:

  • Password field with a live strength meter (weak → strong)
  • Five checkboxes that turn green as your password meets each rule
  • A "Show password" eye icon to see what you typed
  • Confirm Password field (must match)

What to do:

  1. Type your password
  2. Re-type it in the Confirm field
  3. Click Set Password & Activate Account
  4. You'll see a success screen: 🎉 You're all set!
  5. Click Continue to App →

:::tip Keep your password safe Write it down or save it in a password manager. If you forget it, no problem — click Forgot Password on the login page and we'll email you a reset link. :::

Step 6 — First Login (One-Time Setup)​

The Continue to App → button takes you to the Lead Inbox at app.leadhubai.io.

  1. Enter your email and the password you just set
  2. Click Sign In

Two-Factor Authentication (First-Time Only)​

For security, LeadHub AI requires two-factor authentication (2FA) on your first login.

  1. You'll see a QR code on screen
  2. Open any authenticator app on your phone:
    • Google Authenticator (free, iPhone + Android)
    • Microsoft Authenticator (free)
    • Authy (free)
  3. In the app, tap + Add account and scan the QR code with your camera
  4. The app now shows a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds
  5. Type the current 6-digit code into the setup screen
  6. Click Verify

Now you're in! You'll land in the Inbox where your leads will appear as they come in.

:::tip For future logins After this one-time setup, every login just asks you for:

  1. Email
  2. Password
  3. 6-digit code from your authenticator app

You're Live! What's Next?​

Congratulations — your LeadHub AI account is ready to receive leads. Here's what we recommend doing in your first hour:

1. 📱 Install the Mobile App (5 min)​

Add the Lead Inbox to your phone's home screen so you get push notifications when leads arrive. Install guide.

2. 💰 Set Up Service Pricing (10 min)​

Add your service prices so the AI can give quotes automatically when leads ask "How much does it cost?" Pricing setup.

3. ⚙️ Tweak AI Settings (5 min)​

Customize:

  • AI Agent Name — what your AI introduces itself as
  • Greeting message — how it says hello
  • Response delay — how quickly it replies (default: 30 seconds)

Find these in Settings → AI Configuration inside the Lead Inbox app.

4. 👥 Invite Your Team (optional)​

Add up to 10 team members. They'll each get their own login. Team guide.

5. 📢 Generate Your First AI Ad (Pro trial exclusive)​

Go to Lead Generation in the Customer Dashboard to create a Facebook/Instagram ad in 30 seconds. Guide.

Trial Expiration & Upgrading​

Your trial lasts 14 days from signup. We'll remind you:

  • 3 days before expiration — banner in your dashboard
  • 1 day before — email reminder
  • Day of expiration — final email

To keep using LeadHub AI after the trial:

  1. Go to Customer Dashboard → Company
  2. Scroll to Plan & Billing
  3. Click Upgrade to Paid
  4. Pick Starter ($250/mo), Growth ($399/mo), or Pro ($599/mo)
  5. Enter payment details

No action = trial ends automatically. Your data is preserved for 30 days in case you decide to come back.

Troubleshooting​

"I never received the setup email"​

  1. Check your spam/junk folder (most common cause)
  2. Make sure the email address you signed up with is correct
  3. Wait 2 minutes — emails sometimes have a small delay
  4. If still nothing: email support@leadhubai.io with your business name

Links expire after 48 hours. Email support@leadhubai.io with your email and we'll send a fresh link in under 5 minutes.

"Facebook connection failed"​

See the Channels page troubleshooting.

"I get 'Invalid password' on login"​

Click Forgot Password on the login screen. A reset link will be sent to your email.
