Service Areaโ
Tells your AI which cities and counties to say yes to when a lead asks "do you serve [city]?" โ and which ones to politely decline. This is one of the highest-impact settings for AI auto-response quality because it directly drives whether the AI books an appointment or politely turns the lead away.
Why it matters for AI auto-response. Without a service area set, the AI doesn't know whether to say yes to a lead asking about a city 60 miles away. With it set, the AI:
- Says yes confidently when the lead is inside your service area โ sometimes mentioning the specific city to build trust ("Yes! We service homes in Brandon all the time.")
- Politely declines when the lead is outside โ without burning the conversation. The AI says something like "Thanks for reaching out! We're not able to service that area today, but we'll keep your info on file if we expand."
- Asks clarifying questions when the lead's location is ambiguous โ for example, "What's the ZIP?" or "Which city is this in?"
You wouldn't believe how many leads ask about a service in a city 40 miles outside the pro's area. Setting the service area right means the AI doesn't promise something you can't deliver.
Where to find itโ
Lead Generation โ Business โ Account โ Service Area (just below the Profile card).
Three ways to set itโ
1. Radius around your business (recommended for most home-service pros)
A slider from 5 to 500 miles. We auto-detect every city and county within that radius from your business address and feed the list to your AI.
| Radius | Best for |
|---|---|
| 5โ15 mi | Dense urban areas โ Miami, NYC boroughs, downtown LA |
| 20โ30 mi | Standard suburban radius โ most HVAC, plumbing, electrical |
| 40โ60 mi | Larger service trucks, semi-rural โ landscaping, roofing |
| 75โ150 mi | Regional businesses โ pool services, specialty trades |
When you change the radius, click โป Update Service Area to push the change to your AI.
2. Statewide coverage
Toggle Cover the entire state if you serve anywhere in your state โ for example, statewide HVAC distributors or roofing contractors who follow storm work across the state. This disables the radius slider and tells your AI to say yes to any city or county in your state.
3. Manual region list
The radius and statewide settings auto-generate a list of regions (cities and counties) โ but you can manually add or remove specific regions if your real service area doesn't perfectly match the radius. Examples:
- You're based in Tampa but cover up to Orlando โ add Orlando and Orange County manually
- A 20-mile radius technically includes one county you've decided not to serve โ remove it
Click ร Remove next to any region to drop it, or + Add Region to add a new one. After editing, click Save Manual Changes.
Prerequisiteโ
You must have your City and State filled out in the Profile card above. Without those, we can't compute the radius. If you see a yellow warning ("Add your city and state in the Business Profile above"), save the profile first, then come back to set your service area.
What the AI does with thisโ
When a lead messages your business, the AI compares the city or area they mention to your service-area list:
| Lead says | Your service area | AI response |
|---|---|---|
| "I'm in Brandon" | Brandon is in your radius | โ Confirms service, moves the conversation forward |
| "Tampa Heights" | Tampa is in your radius | โ Confirms service, may ask for ZIP for routing |
| "Sarasota" | Outside your radius | โ Politely declines, may offer a referral |
| "I'm in Florida" | Vague โ statewide is OFF | โ Asks for city or ZIP before confirming |
| "Plant City" | Statewide is ON in Florida | โ Confirms service |
When to updateโ
- You expanded your business to a new city or county โ add it to the manual list, or bump the radius
- You narrowed your focus to a smaller geography โ drop the radius, the AI will start declining the cities you no longer serve
- A new tech joined the team with a different home base โ leave the radius the same; the AI doesn't track individual tech locations
- You moved or opened a second location โ update the business address in Profile first, then re-run the service area
Click โป Update Service Area after any change. The new list takes effect on the next inbound lead message โ no need to restart anything.

Trial Consent vs. Service Agreementโ
Depending on how your account was created:
- Service Agreement โ full contract for customers registered by the sales team (terms, authorization, TCPA compliance)
- Trial Consent โ consent record for self-service trial signups (permissions granted for Facebook, Instagram, and SMS)
Both are legally binding electronic documents with timestamp and IP verification, compliant with ESIGN and UETA.
๐จ Brand Tabโ
Set up the brand assets the AI uses to generate ads, posts, and stories. Upload once โ these persist across sessions and across campaigns. Starting a new campaign won't wipe them.
Logoโ
Upload your business logo. The AI blends your logo naturally into generated images so it looks designed in, not stamped on top.
- Format: PNG (transparent background recommended), JPG, or WebP
- Max 5MB
- Tip: square logos work best (at least 512ร512); transparent PNG is ideal
Brand Mascot (optional)โ
A character, mascot, or reusable piece of artwork that represents your brand.
- Great for home service โ a friendly technician, a cartoon plumber, a mascot pet
- The AI uses this as a main subject in generated imagery
- Same format + size rules as logo
Additional Picture (optional)โ
A reference photo the AI uses for authenticity in generated images.
- Examples: team photo, your truck, finished work, your storefront, a signature product
- AI uses it to inform scene and style โ not to paste into the image directly
- Good for making ads feel like your business, not generic stock
Brand Colorsโ
Set three brand colors using the color pickers:
- Primary โ main brand color (headlines, buttons, dominant accents)
- Secondary โ supporting color (backgrounds, dividers, subtle elements)
- Accent โ highlight color (calls to action, badges, pops of emphasis)
A live strip under the pickers shows how the three colors look together.
Ad Preferencesโ
- โ Use logo in generated ads โ include your logo in every generated ad (recommended on)
- โ Reference my website in ad copy โ let the AI read your website for business context, services list, and tone
Click Save Brand Settings after making any changes.

FAQโ
Can I change the business name on the agreement after signing?โ
The agreement itself is immutable โ it's a legal record. But you can update your business name in Company โ Account โ Profile and the change shows up in future invoices, AI responses, and emails. Contact support if you need an updated agreement document for legal reasons (e.g., business acquired, DBA changed).
Does the agreement auto-renew?โ
Yes โ month-to-month. Your subscription renews automatically each billing period. Cancel anytime from Account โ Plan & Billing โ Cancel Plan.
I lost my copy of the agreement โ can I get another?โ
It's always accessible from the Contract section inside the Account tab. Click Print Agreement โ Save as PDF โ store it wherever you like.
What if I want to remove the logo later?โ
Click the ๐๏ธ icon on the logo (or mascot, or additional picture) to remove it. You can upload a new one anytime. Don't forget to click Save Brand Settings.
Does changing the brand mascot retroactively update old ads?โ
No. Brand assets apply to new content generation. Ads and posts already generated keep their original imagery. Re-generate or modify an old campaign to pick up the new brand assets.
My AI told a lead in [city] that we don't service them, but we do โ how do I fix it?โ
Open Business โ Account โ Service Area. Either bump the radius until that city is included, or add the city/county manually using + Add Region. Click Update Service Area. The next lead message from that area will get a "yes" instead. Existing conversations the AI already declined won't be re-opened automatically โ message the lead manually from your Leads inbox if you want to recover them.
What's the difference between Service Area and the ad-campaign service area?โ
Two different things, both useful:
- Business โ Service Area tells the AI auto-responder which cities to confirm service for when a lead asks. Used on every inbound message, regardless of source.
- Lead Generation โ Google Ads / Meta Ads โ Service area (set during the campaign wizard) tells the ad platforms where to show your ad. Used at ad-targeting time.
They can โ and often should โ be the same. If your business serves a 20-mile radius, set both to 20 miles. If you advertise to a broader area than you actually serve (testing demand in a new city before you commit), they can differ โ but the AI will politely decline anyone outside the Business โ Service Area even if your ad reached them.
How often should I update Service Area?โ
Only when your real business footprint changes โ new city, new tech location, narrowing focus. The AI re-reads it on every inbound message, so changes take effect within seconds. No need to revisit it as a recurring task.
The radius keeps suggesting counties I don't want โ what do I do?โ
After clicking Update Service Area, the auto-generated region list appears below the radius slider. Click the ร next to any city or county you don't actually serve. Then click Save Manual Changes. The radius slider stays at whatever you set, but the saved regions list is what the AI actually uses.
